Week Without Walls Diary: Day 3 =)

       On the third day, after having breakfast, we went to the bus to go to our last destination, Prima Rasa and Saung Angklung Udjo. Prima Rasa is a bakery that sells specialty cakes and delicacies from Bandung. There were a lot of people here, and we got a chance to shop for some specialties to bring home. The cakes were delicious =D After that we went to Saung Angklung Udjo, which is a place to make angklung, a traditional musical instrument from Bandung. We got the opportunity to learn to play angklung, and also watch a dance from the children there. I even got the chance to dance along with those kids =). Next we watched the process of making angklung. It turns out that it needs approximately 3 years for an angklung to be produced. At one, we went back to Jakarta. The journey took approximately 3 hours, so we had lunch at the bus. As soon as we got to Jakarta, we went straight to a restaurant near the airport. Then, we had to wait for about one hour for the restaurant to serve us. After we ate dinner we went to the airport. It was already five in the evening. We received our boarding passes and then we went inside to the waiting room and waited there. It was at 7 when we boarded the aircraft. The journey took 1 hour and we arrived at Juanda Airport safely at eight thirty. We had to take our luggages, and that concludes our field trip to Jakarta and Bandung. From this fieldtrip, we have learned a lot, and this was a great learning experience for all of us =)
